Let us know your preferred start date and how long you want to stay. Trip dates are shown on the top right of the volunteer home page; if these dates don't work for you, contact us to discuss whether other options are possible.

Please do let us know as soon as you are interested, as demand for places is greater than we are able to offer. Once you have enquired, one of our UK based Team Leaders will give you a call. Having been former volunteers who have gone on to stay involved they are able to answer any questions you may have and help you work out if VU is right for you.

How To Apply

To apply for a place, click on the "Apply" tab on the top menu to complete an application form. You should apply as soon as possible because numbers are limited.

We will let you know in two or three days whether your application has been successful. If so, you need to send a deposit of £200 immediately to secure your place; the balance of the cost is payable 56 days before departure. We look forward to welcoming successful applicants to the VU lodge, our projects and the wider the VU community.
